According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on April 7, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with strong winds in Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Odisha.

Weather condition for April 7 and 8

• There is an alert of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand on April 7.
• There is an alert of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh on 8th April.
• There is a possibility of rain in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Odisha on 7, 8 and 9 April.
• Winds of 30-40 kmph will blow across Delhi-NCR on April 7 and 8. Rain may occur two to three times during this period.
• Moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers is likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and East Rajasthan.
• Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal are likely to witness rain, snowfall and thunderstorms between April 7 and 10.
• Rain accompanied by lightning is expected in states like Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bengal, Bihar from 7th to 9th April.

Possibility of hailstorm in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, along with strong winds and rain, there is also a possibility of hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh.
