Three youths killed, two including a girl injured in a bike collision in Kanpur

News Topical, Digital Desk : Five people, including a young woman, were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles late Friday night in Uttaripura town. Police arrived at the scene and sent all five injured to Shivrajpur CHC. After examination, doctors declared three young men dead. Two others, including the young woman, were referred to Kanpur after first aid. The deaths of the young men caused an uproar among their relatives.

 Three youths killed, two injured in bike collision

Late Friday night, 21-year-old Raghuvar, son of Mahesh, a resident of Khajuria Nivada village, was on his bike to drop off his cousin, 20-year-old Rahul, and his sister, 22-year-old Kavita, daughter of Avadhanresh, at Uttaripura Shanti Nagar. Around 12:00 a.m., their bike collided with an oncoming bike near Union Bank on GT Road in Uttaripura.

Both bikes were badly damaged 

Both the bikes were damaged in the violent collision. Bike riders Raghuvar, Rahul, Kavita and the rider of the other bike, 20 year old Jatin Rathore son of Sunil Rathore, resident of Uttaripura and his friend 23 year old Om Ji son of late Shailendra Sisodiya were seriously injured. The police reached the spot and sent all the injured to CHC Shivrajpur for treatment. Where after examination, the doctors declared Raghuvar, Om Ji and Jatin dead. Rahul and his sister Kavita were referred to Kanpur.

The relatives who reached the CHC were in distress

The relatives who arrived at the CHC were devastated upon learning of the young men's deaths. According to the police, both bike riders were not wearing helmets. Uttaripura outpost in-charge Amit Kumar stated that all three bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The injured are now out of danger. The vehicles have been seized. Based on the complaint, a case will be filed and action will be taken.

Omji was alone between two sisters

Omji, a resident of Uttaripura, lost his father when he was a child. The family consists of his mother, Neetu, his elder sister, Janhavi, and his younger sister, Gauri. Omji ran a medical store in the town to support his family. His death has devastated his family. Jatin, who died in the incident, was Omji's friend. He was a momo and finger maker.

Jatin's elder brother, Golu, also died in a road accident a year ago. The family consists of his mother, Rekha, his elder brothers, Shivam, Akash, and Alok, and a sister, Anjali. Raghuvar, who died in the accident, worked as a farmer with his father. The family also includes his mother, Mannu, and brothers, Shankar, Chhotu, Kishan, and Satyam, and a sister, Soni.
