News Topical, Digital Desk : There's a possibility that a warehouse will soon be established in GIDA. Land has been requested for the construction of three warehouses in the GIDA area. Based on the demand, UPCDA has sent a letter to GIDA and SDM Sahajanwa, requesting a detailed report after identifying the land.

Following this, the tehsil administration is rapidly preparing to mark the land. After construction, entrepreneurs will experience significant convenience. Industries will no longer have to worry about handling their raw and finished goods.

To encourage the establishment of warehouses, the state government is rapidly developing the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA). Influenced by the government's plan, a large number of entrepreneurs are investing and establishing industries in GIDA. With the establishment of these industries, a major problem arises regarding the storage of raw materials and finished goods used in the factories.

In this sequence, the government is also encouraging the establishment of warehouses to keep the products of factories safe, so that entrepreneurs do not face any problem in keeping their products safe.

Impressed by the Uttar Pradesh government's plan, Mumbai-based company M/s People Tree Logistics Private Limited has applied to the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA) to establish three warehouse units in the GIDA area. Following this, Ramakant Kushwaha, UPIDA's Warehousing, Housing and Logistics in-charge, sent a letter to SDM Sahajanwa, requesting land demarcation.

The letter stated that the organization is proposing to build a warehousing unit near Nagwan, Muzaila, and Tenua in the area. In this regard, the land identified for construction should be identified and informed. The identified land area should be integrated. In addition to the status of public land included in the project, it is expected that the identified land should be located along a road approximately 12 meters wide.

Along with this report, provide a report showing a colorized Sajra plan. Following the letter, the tehsil administration has begun preparations to identify the land. SDM Keshari Nandan Tiwari said that UPCDA has identified the land for setting up three warehouse units and has requested a report. The Kanungo and Lekhpal have been given the responsibility, and the work will be completed soon and the report will be sent.

Housing, and Logistics in-charge, said the state government is heavily encouraging the establishment of warehouses. Substantial discounts are provided on stamp duty, electricity duty, and development fees. Furthermore, there is also a provision for subsidies on the invested capital.

He explained that the warehouse project is worth ₹20 crore and the land size must be at least 100,000 square feet. An application has been received to establish a warehouse in Gorakhpur. A letter has been sent to GIDA and SDM Sahajanwa, requesting a report.
