News Topical, Digital Desk : In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, police stopped Samajwadi Party MP Ruchi Veera from entering Narayanpur Changa village in the Thakurdwara area. She was placed under house arrest. During this time, Ruchi Veera's supporters protested the police action and raised slogans. Two days ago, after the statue of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was damaged in the Thakurdwara police station area of Moradabad, a clash broke out between two groups of the same community in the village, in which several people were injured.
The police registered a case against 12 named and 150 unidentified individuals, including a BJP leader, and later filed a case against 13 members of the other party. Currently, a heavy police force is deployed in the village, and peace prevails, but political tensions are high. Opposition leaders are accusing the BJP of oppressing Dalits.

SP MP Ruchi Veera said, "I want to go to the village and meet the victims there. The oppressed Dalit brothers there are calling me. I am the MP from here and this is my Lok Sabha constituency, so why am I being stopped?" The SP MP attacked the BJP on the women's reservation bill, questioning why the BJP is not providing 33 percent reservation to women, as per the current number of seats in the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. She said that the BJP's intentions are flawed. Under the guise of women's reservation, it wants to manipulate the new seat delimitation to its own advantage, so as to remain in power. It is mediating between Iran and the United States, and the second round of meetings is again going to be held in Pakistan. Responding to this question, SP MP Ruchi Veera said, “This is a matter of great shame and regret for us. Today, a small country, a terrorist state, is mediating, and our Prime Minister, who talks about his 56-inch chest, is mediating.”

SP MP Ruchi Veera said, "We have a long-standing traditional relationship with Iran. Modi wants to become a world leader, but he hasn't interfered. What is our diplomacy? Even during Operation Sindoor, no country supported us. Prime Minister Modi calls Trump his friend, whose orders he is following, but he too didn't support us, and he's praising Pakistan. So, what kind of friendship is this, what kind of diplomacy is this? Our government has failed 100%. Today, this is a great misfortune for us. Modi lost a friend like Iran because of his friend Trump, and he visited Israel two days before the war. We don't understand where Modi is taking the country. Narendra Modi is solely responsible for the current situation. He should answer what our foreign policy is and why no country is supporting us. The entire country wants to know how long he will continue to follow Trump's orders."
