News Topical, Digital Desk : Three right-wing extremists in Britain were sentenced on Friday to prison terms ranging from eight to 11 years after they were found guilty of plotting attacks on mosques and synagogues.
Prosecutors said during the hearing that Brogan Stewart, Marco Pitzetu and Christopher Ringrose were preparing for a terrorist attack before their arrest in February 2024. The three were also accused of collecting information that could be useful to someone preparing a terrorist attack.
Ringrose pleaded not guilty.
Ringrose was also charged with other offences. He pleaded not guilty, but jurors at Sheffield Crown Court convicted him of all charges in May. Judge Johanna Cutts sentenced Stewart, who played a key role, to 11 years in prison. Ringrose received 10 years, and Pitzetu eight.
