There was a discussion on creating an atmosphere of unity and brotherhood in UP.
Talking to Dainik Jagran after meeting Maulana Sajjad Nomani in Lucknow on Thursday, the ASPA chief said that today a large population of the country is marginalized. For a long time, the governments have deprived them of basic rights. Maulana Sajjad told Chandrashekhar that he should come forward to honestly raise the problems of the Muslims, the weak and the deprived sections of the society. There is a need to make strict laws against mob lynching in the country.
The MP said that whether it is mob lynching or roti, kapda, makaan, he will strongly raise all these issues. There are walls between the two communities, we will work to break them down. Efforts will be made to create an atmosphere of unity and brotherhood. Chandrashekhar said that law and order is on the margins. Cases are filed first against those who raise questions, and later against those who disturb law and order.
The government needs to be serious about law and order. If justice is done on the basis of caste and religion, then people will lose faith in the government. Chandrashekhar said that politics is one thing and country is another. Country is big, other things come later. The ruling party has a responsibility, but the opposition should also play an important role in this. Keep asking questions to the opposition so that the ruling party does not become a dictator.
resumption of student union elections
During the meeting with Maulana Sajjad, student union elections were also discussed. Chandrashekhar said that children of families with heritage and wealth move ahead in politics, but the youth of poor villages are left behind. In student politics, the youth learn to raise their voice, which leads to their mental and intellectual development. By ending student union elections for a long time, new leadership of the village has been stopped.
