News Topical, Digital Desk : The wait for the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is going to end soon. So far, the central government has released 21 installments. The 21st installment was sent to the farmers on November 19. Since then, the farmers are waiting for the next installment. Let us know when will the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana come?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on November 19 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in which Rs 18,000 crore was given to more than nine crore farmers.

When will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana come?

Based on the current pattern, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan is expected to be released between March and April 2026. The next installment will be credited to the accounts of only those farmers who have completed their e-KYC.

An OTP-based eKYC system was launched for e-KYC. You can complete it through the Kisan Portal or the PM Kisan app.

Will the budget of PM Kisan Yojana increase?

Amidst the PM Kisan Yojana, preparations for the national budget are currently underway. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the national budget on February 1st. This budget may also include some major announcements regarding the Kisan Yojana.

Currently, under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months, totaling ₹6,000 annually. This money is disbursed in three installments each year – April-July, August-November, and December-March. The funds are transferred directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts. It is likely that the amount of this scheme may be increased in the budget.
