News Topical, Digital Desk : In Greater Noida, the Kisan Sabha held a panchayat in Iteda village against the Greater Noida Authority, which was attended by a large number of farmers from surrounding villages. The farmers alleged that decisions were to be made regarding the 10 percent plot allocation, the implementation of the new law, and the settlement of settlements, but no decision has yet been made in favor of the farmers.

Kisan Sabha District President Dr. Rupesh Verma, while expressing concern regarding the 10 percent plots, implementation of the new law and settlement of the settlements, said that on January 9, under the population rules, the Section-4 committee was to take a decision regarding the population cases of 12 villages.

Farmers accused of laxity

The Section 4 committee also includes representatives from the Police Commissioner and the District Magistrate. The Police Commissioner's representative did not attend despite being informed, resulting in the committee being unable to make a decision. Authority officials have promised to reconvene on January 23rd.

Greater Noida Authority warns of agitation

The farmers stated that if a meeting is not held on January 23rd and their problems are not resolved, they will be forced to launch a major protest. The Kisan Sabha will protest in front of the Greater Noida Authority.

It should be noted that the Chief Minister's High Power Committee has issued clear instructions regarding the resolution of settlement cases. Despite this, action at the authority level is being delayed, leading to growing anger among farmers.

Present on the occasion were Satpal Khari, Bhim Khari, Sandeep Chauganpur, Nitin Malkpur, Gurpreet Advocate, Bhagat Singh Tughlaqpur, Satbir Yadav Gabri Mukhiya, Manoj Yadav, Gaurav Yadav, etc. The farmers demanded that the Greater Noida Authority resolve their problems.
