News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttarakhand Panchayat Election : The wait for the public representatives who have been waiting for a long time for the Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand seems to be coming to an end. According to the information received by ABP Live, it is expected that the notification for Panchayat elections will be issued in the state tomorrow morning i.e. on June 21. This time a new thing has come to the fore in the elections. Which is expected to be done in two phases. The first phase can be done from 6 to 8 July, while the second phase can be done around 12 to 14 July. At the same time, the counting of votes is likely to be done around 17 to 20 July.
Let us tell you here that for a long time there was a continuous demand for holding panchayat elections in the state, but the panchayat elections were being postponed continuously due to some reasons. Now the time for panchayat elections seems to be coming closer.
Congress and BJP started preparations
At present, both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress are ready for the Panchayat elections. Both the parties have started consulting their leaders and soon both the parties will announce the names of their party candidates to contest the elections.
On the other hand, the state government has also made all its preparations. Now it is just a matter of time before the Election Commission issues a notification. After which the election bugle will be sounded in the state from tomorrow.
Panchayat elections are the semi-final of 2027
Let us tell you here that Uttarakhand will have assembly elections in 2027, for which the upcoming panchayat elections are being considered as semi-finals. Both the major parties of the state, BJP and Congress, are already trying their best in this. Right now BJP is in power, so its strength is clearly visible, Congress has to deal with the internal conflicts of the party along with competing with BJP.
