Many countries including America, Europe and China have expressed concern over the situation on the LoC. All countries are appealing to India and Pakistan to reduce tension and retreat.

 

After the Pahalgam attack, India carried out air strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan, in response to which Pakistan started drone and missile attacks in the dark of night. Pakistan fired in many areas including Rajouri, Poonch and Jammu. India retaliated and destroyed four airbases of Pakistan. China appeals for peace

China's Foreign Ministry has appealed to India and Pakistan for peace. China has requested both the countries to exercise restraint and resolve the issue through dialogue.

 

What did America say?

From US President Donald Trump to Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, everyone is in favour of establishing peace between the two countries. Whereas US Vice President JD Vance says that America has nothing to do with the tension between India and Pakistan.

 

Opinion of G-7 countries

The G-7 countries i.e. America, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy and UK together strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack. At the same time, the foreign ministers and high representatives of the G-7 countries have called upon both the countries to immediately reduce tensions.

 

Saudi Arabia is also worried

Saudi Arabia has also expressed concern over the tension between India and Pakistan. Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Abdel al-Jubeir was on a visit to India and Pakistan on 8-9 May. During this, he has requested both the countries to reduce tension and resolve the dispute through dialogue.

 

Iran's Foreign Minister visited

Before the conflict between India and Pakistan started, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghzi had visited Pakistan. He also visited India on Thursday. During this, he has appealed to both the countries to exercise restraint.

 

Turkey supported Pakistan

Turkey has openly decided to support Pakistan. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan shared a post on social media and said, "Tensions between the two countries may increase. This will result in the martyrdom of a large population. We express our condolences to Pakistan."
