News Topical, Digital Desk : Tata Motors Limited has issued a regulatory update regarding the recent cybersecurity incident at its British subsidiary, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The company stated that it has resumed operations. The incident had temporarily affected manufacturing. The company stated that manufacturing activities are being resumed in a phased manner. JLR stated that this process involves the cooperation of cybersecurity experts and the UK government to ensure smooth and safe resumption of production.

The company has also ensured that customer and employee data is fully protected. Due to the cybersecurity incident, JLR temporarily halted production and supply chain activities. Now, with the phased resumption of production, all units will gradually return to normal.

Recovery is now underway at a rapid pace. A JLR spokesperson emphasized that continuous efforts are being made to safely restore systems. The company thanked employees, retailers, and suppliers for their patience and reiterated that ground-level recovery is now progressing rapidly. JLR has two vehicle plants in the UK, as well as facilities in China, Slovakia, India, and Brazil, and seven global technology hubs. As part of Tata Motors, the brand is advancing its Reimagine strategy, which aims to achieve a fully electric Jaguar lineup and carbon net-zero status across the value chain by 2039. 

Share Performance Tata Motors shares closed 0.16% higher at ₹674.00 on Monday. The company's stock has seen a decline of 30.85% over the past year.
