After bathing in the morning, offer prayers to the Sun God. Then, place the idol of Lord Hanuman on a pedestal. Light a lamp with pure ghee. Offer a garland of flowers and vermilion to Lord Hanuman. After this, begin the recitation of the Sundarkand (sunderkand) as per the prescribed rituals. Upon completion of the Sundarkand (sunderkand) recitation, perform Hanuman Aarti and recite the Hanuman Chalisa. Finally, offer the Lord jaggery, gram, boondi laddus, imarti, and fruits, among other things, and distribute the offerings among the people.
