News Topical, Digital Desk : A case of harassment of a student has come to light at the Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School in Bilauli Bazaar, Pahla. The student's family has admitted her to the hospital. A complaint has been filed at the police station accusing three teachers of harassing and not providing food to the student for two days.
Shivani, the sixteen-year-old daughter of Omprakash of Bilauli Bazaar, is a high school student at the Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School. Shivani alleges that teachers Priyanka, Anuradha, and Mansi pressure her to sweep and do their personal chores.
If she refused, she was made to stand in the campus for the entire day as punishment. She was threatened with having her name struck off. It is alleged that she was kept hungry for two days. On Friday, when Shivani's condition worsened, her family was informed. The family admitted her to CHC Mahmudabad.
Medical officer Dr. Firoz said that the student arrived feeling dizzy and unconscious. She said she hadn't eaten in two days. She was treated. A complaint has been filed against the three teachers at the police station. Police officer Anil Singh said they are investigating.
