
Stock Market: There is big news related to the stock market. Next week, the Indian stock market will be open for only 3 days, not 5 days. That means you will be able to buy or sell any stock only for 3 days. Apart from Saturday and Sunday, the stock market will be closed for 2 more days. The market will remain closed for a total of 4 days (Stock Market Holiday). So, if you are making a strategy to buy or sell a stock, then know ahead when the market will be open and when it will be closed.
Stock market closed on Monday
On the first Monday (14 April 2025), there will be no sale and purchase of any kind of shares in the stock market. Actually, the stock market will remain closed on 14 April due to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. On this occasion, equity trading, derivatives, currency derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), NDS-RST, tri-party repo and commodity trading on MCX will also be suspended.
In this way, there will be no trading in the stock market for 3 consecutive days (from 12 April to 14 April) because 12 April is Saturday and 13 April is Sunday. After this, the stock market will reopen on Tuesday, 15 April 2025. Stock market closed again on Friday On Friday (18 April 2025), there will be no sale and purchase of any kind of shares in the stock market. Actually, the stock market will remain closed on 18 April due to Good Friday. On this occasion, equity trading, derivatives, currency derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), NDS-RST, tri-party repo and commodity trading on MCX will also be suspended. In this way, there will be no trading in the stock market for 3 consecutive days (from April 18 to April 20) because April 19 is Saturday and April 20 is Sunday. After this, the stock market will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025.
