According to the company, it has received this order from Southern Railway and this order is related to the upgradation of the electric traction system. The company had informed last week that it has proved to be the lowest bidder for a project of Southern Railway. The impact of the information given by the company today can be seen on the stock in Monday's trading. On Friday, the stock closed above the level of 391 with a slight increase.

What information did the company give?

In the information sent to the stock market, the company said that it has received an order from South Railway for work related to the upgradation of the electric traction system. This upgrade is to be done in Salem Division. The size of the order is Rs 143 crore and the time limit to complete this project is 24 months. Earlier on June 27, the company had informed that it has become the lowest bidder for a project of South Central Railway. This project is in Vijayawada Division. According to the company, the size of this order is above Rs 213 crore. The contract is to be completed in 24 months. 

How was the performance of the stock? 

In Friday's session, the stock closed at 391.35 with a gain of 0.2 percent. The highest level of the stock for the year is 647, while the lowest level of the year is 295. A year ago, the stock was trading above the level of 500.
