On this auspicious date, Mother Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth ,  is worshiped along with Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world. Along with this, Ekadashi fast is observed. By observing this fast, one gets freedom from all the sins committed by the seeker knowingly or unknowingly. Along with this, desired fruits are attained. Auspicious time of Papankusha Ekadashi (Papankusha Ekadashi Shubh Muhurat)

According to the Panchang, Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will start on Sunday, October 13 at 09:08 am. Whereas, this Tithi will end on Monday, October 14 at 06:41 am. In Sanatan Dharma, the Tithi is calculated from sunrise. Hence, Papankusha Ekadashi will be celebrated on October 13. Whereas, the followers of Vaishnav Samaj will celebrate Papankusha Ekadashi on October 14. Common people can break their fast on October 14 between 01:16 pm to 03:34 pm.

Papankusha Ekadashi Shubh Yog

According to astrologers, Ravi Yoga is being formed on Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in Ashwin month. This yoga will end on October 14 at 02:51 am. At the same time, Dhanishta Nakshatra is being formed on Papankusha Ekadashi. The conjunction of Dhanishta Nakshatra is till 02:51 am on October 14. Along with this, Gar and Vanij Karan Yoga are being formed. In these yogas, by worshiping Maa Lakshmi along with Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world, the devotee will get all kinds of happiness.
