In connection with the investigation of Raja Raghuvanshi's murder, his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi was taken to Ghazipur hospital for medical test. Many police personnel were present while Sonam was being taken for medical test. Sonam Raghuvanshi of Indore, who went missing from Shillong, has surrendered before the police in Ghazipur.

Sonam Raghuvanshi was seen folding her hands while being taken to the hospital for medical test. During this time, female police personnel were also present with her. Sonam Raghuvanshi has been accused of murdering her husband Raja Raghuvanshi. Police investigation has revealed that Sonam was having an affair with Raj Kushwaha before marriage and that is why she hired a contract killer to kill her husband but she is calling herself innocent.

On the other hand, Sonam Raghuvanshi is claiming that she has nothing to do with this murder. She was kidnapped by some people in Manipur and left in Ghazipur. Sonam's family is also defending their daughter. On June 9, wife Sonam Raghuvanshi surrendered before the police. At present, the police have arrested a total of five people in this case. The police is taking the accused to Shillong and will further question them. Sonam will also be taken to Meghalaya. Meghalaya Police will take Sonam into their custody and question her.

The body of Raja Raghuvanshi was found on 2 June

Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam, residents of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, got married on May 11. The couple left for Shillong, Meghalaya for their honeymoon on May 20. Initially, the family kept talking to both of them, but then the contact was lost. Both of them went missing on May 23. When their mobiles were switched off, the family got worried. The NDRF and police launched a massive search operation. On June 2, Raja Raghuvanshi's body was recovered from a deep ditch.
