National Security Adviser Miroslav Lajčák denied any wrongdoing, calling it an informal and light-hearted email exchange.
Why did you resign?
He said he was resigning so the situation wouldn't be used to attack the prime minister. Fico announced on Saturday that he had accepted Lajčák's resignation. The US Justice Department published millions of new files related to Epstein on Friday.
