Sitaare Zameen Par Collection: Aamir Khan's movie earned this much profit after recovering the budget, total earnings of 27 days

His sports drama film 'Sitare Zameen Par' was released on June 20. The opening of this film was slow, but later the movie picked up pace at the box office. 

This movie, which takes a team of specially abled children to the Basketball Nationals, was loved by the audience. Sitare Zameen Par is now going to complete a month at the box office. The way Sitare Zameen Par started, it did not seem at all that the movie would be able to earn even 100 crores. However, Aamir Khan broke this illusion and the movie earned a good amount in no time. The movie earned crores at the box office for 24 days, but on the 25th day the movie's collection crashed. 

On the 24th day,  Sitara Zameen  Par earned 2.85 crores, while on the 25th day, the movie earned only 60 lakhs. The condition of the movie was the same on the 26th day i.e. Tuesday. According to the reports of Sakanlik.com, on the 27th day i.e. Wednesday, the movie did a business of only 50 lakhs in Hindi, while the movie was able to earn only 10 lakhs each in Tamil and Telugu. 

How much did Sitare Zameen Par go ahead of the budget

Sitare Zameen Par's budget was around 80 crores, but the movie has earned a net of 162.5 crores at the domestic box office, while the gross collection of the film has reached 194 crores. Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza's film has earned a profit of more than 82 crores in India from its budget. 

Sitare Zameen Par has earned well in India, but worldwide also the movie has posed a challenge to upcoming movies. Aamir's movie has done a business of 259 crores worldwide. In the overseas market, the movie has earned up to 65 crores.
