News Topical, Digital Desk : KP Green Engineering said in a stock exchange filing on Monday that it has received advance work orders worth ₹819 crore (including GST) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). These orders are for telecom infrastructure work under BSNL's 4G Saturation Project/BOP-BIP. The company stated in an exchange filing that this is its largest order to date and will mark a significant milestone in its business expansion.
The first of these advance work orders is for Cluster 'C', which includes the Maharashtra Circle and Goa. The total value of this order is ₹483 crore (including GST). The second advance work order is for Cluster 'J', which includes Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, with a total value of ₹336 crore (including GST).
What the orders include: Both orders involve the supply and installation of ground-based towers (GBTs), the supply of other telecom infrastructure materials, and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of sites for KP Green Engineering. These O&M services will be initially for five years, with the option to extend them for a further five years.
