News Topical, Digital Desk : Government company BEML Ltd on Monday informed that the company has received a new order of Rs 1888 crore. The company said that it has received this order from Integral Coach Factory (ICF) for manufacturing and supply of LHB coaches. In the information given to the exchange, the company said, "BEML Limited has received an order of about Rs 1888 crore from Integral Coach Factory, which is related to the manufacturing, supply, testing and commissioning of complete fully functional LHB coaches."

Malaysia received order

Earlier on Saturday, the company had informed that the company has got its first international contract in the rail and metro segment. The company had said that BEML Limited has received its first foreign contract in the rail and metro segment from Malaysia on 09 August 2025. This contract is for retrofit and reconditioning of Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS), with a total cost of around Rs 8.758 crore. BEML Limited is a leading multi-technology 'Schedule A' company under the Ministry of Defense. It works in three major sectors Defense and Aerospace, Mining and Construction, and Rail and Metro. As of March 31, 2025, the Government of India held 54.03 per cent stake in BEML. 

Share performance After the news of getting the order, the company's stock has once again seen a rise. The company's stock was trading at Rs 3933 with a gain of 2 per cent. In the last 6 months, the company's stock has seen a rise of 33.87 per cent.
