News Topical, Digital Desk : Ceigall India announced before the stock market closed on Friday that it had won a major contract. In a filing to the exchange, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects Pvt Ltd, had emerged as the L1 bidder in a tender worth Rs 1,809 crore for a key road project of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC).
The company stated that the project involves the construction of an Indore-Ujjain greenfield, access-controlled, four-lane highway with a total length of 48.10 kilometers. The road will begin at Pitra Parvat (km 0,000) at km 48,100 and end at Simhastha Bypass (km 2,600). The project will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The company stated that the contract is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of award.
Share Performance : The company's shares rose 3.33 percent on Friday, trading at ₹243.70. Over the past year, the company's shares have declined 27.94 percent.
