
News Topical, Digital Desk : Ceigall India announced Friday after the stock market closed that it had received an order worth ₹712 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). This order was awarded to develop 190 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power projects under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0. The company will be installing these projects in four districts of Maharashtra.
The company informed the exchange that the project will be implemented in 18 months, followed by operation and maintenance for 25 years under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The total estimated cost of the project is ₹712.16 crore (including GST). Under this agreement, the company will construct, operate, and maintain the solar power plant and ensure power supply for 25 years.
Share Performance: The company's shares closed at ₹260.80 on Friday, down 1.25%. Over the past year, the company's stock has declined 33.15%.
