This approval can further strengthen the company's international presence. Dalmia Bharat jumped 5% after announcing its quarterly results. Strong earnings and better margins boosted investor confidence. Buying was also seen in the tire sector today. Shares of Apollo Tyres and MRF gained 2%. Expectations of improvement in demand in this sector are giving positive signals. However, Persistent Systems suffered losses due to its cautious approach and its shares fell 5% below its highest level. Adani Energy gained nearly 3% on the back of strong results.
