A letter was issued by the General Administration Department on Thursday (May 15, 2025). It has been told in the letter that the order of May 8 is now withdrawn. Let us tell you that after Operation Sindoor , in view of the India-Pakistan tension, the leave of police and government employees was banned in Bihar.

In view of the special situation, an order was issued to the government employees who had gone on leave to return to duty. The order issued by the General Administration Department states that the leave of government employees is restored. In this regard, a letter has been issued to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and Director General of Police. The letter gives information about the withdrawal of the order of May 8.

There was a ban on the leave of government employees

In the notification issued by the General Administration Department, it has been said that the situation in Bihar has now become normal. Therefore, the ban on the leave of government employees is withdrawn. It has been said in the letter that instructions were issued not to approve the leave of civilian and police personnel. The government had also become alert amidst the India-Pakistan tension. A series of meetings were going on in Bihar on security arrangements.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was also in action mode. Security at airports, railway stations, crowded areas and public places was tightened. Especially the border districts of Bihar were put on high alert. In view of the special situation, policemen were deployed at every nook and corner. The soldiers were constantly keeping an eye on suspicious activities. Now when the situation becomes normal, government employees will be able to get leave as before.
