
News Topical, Digital Desk : In Gautam Buddha Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, it has been decided to keep all the government offices and schools of the district closed tomorrow i.e. on 23 July 2025 on the occasion of Shivaratri. District Magistrate Manish Sharma has issued orders in this regard. In the order issued by the government, the reason behind the holiday tomorrow is stated to be Jalabhishek. Now all the schools and offices of the district will open on Thursday 24 July 2025.
Actually, tomorrow on 23 July 2025, on Mahashivratri, Kanwar pilgrims will go to different temples and worship Lord Bholenath by offering water. During this, a large number of Kanwariyas will also participate, in view of this possible crowd, the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has decided to declare a holiday tomorrow on 23 July. Now on 24 July i.e. the day after Shivratri, all the schools and offices of the district will open.
Lakhs of Shiva devotees will perform Jalabhishek tomorrow.
Special security arrangements have been made for Kanwar Yatra. Since it is Shivaratri, lakhs of devotees will worship Bholenath and will flock to temples for Jalabhishek. The administration's aim is to ensure the safety of the devotees along with their faith.
Giving priority to the faith and safety of Shiva devotees, the district administration has made special arrangements. Keeping in mind the huge crowd and number of devotees at various places, extensive security arrangements have been implemented at the district level. Due to the Kanwar Yatra, strict steps have been taken to control traffic on the main roads of the district.
CM Yogi is monitoring the Kanwar Yatra
. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is keeping an eye on the Kanwar Yatra. 15 thousand policemen have been put on duty in 4 districts of Meerut range. Security is being ensured by creating 57 zones and 155 sectors in Meerut, Bulandshahr, Baghpat and Hapur.
In Meerut range, 5000 cameras are being used to monitor the security of Kanwar Yatra. Around 3500 policemen are being deployed in Ghaziabad, real time monitoring will be done through 1500 CCTV cameras. 700 traffic policemen are being deployed on all major Kanwar routes of Ghaziabad.
