News Topical, Digital Desk : Shri Narvadeshwarnath Mahadev Temple is on the way from Nasirpur Gate towards Nehru Nagar. The temple has idols of deities like Durga, Kali, Saraswati Maa, Narsingh, Thakurji, Radha-Krishna, Bajrangbali etc. along with Shiv Parivar and Siddh Samadhi. After the demise of Shri Mahant Haridwar Giri Maharaj (Naga Baba) in 1998, Vishwanath Giri Maharaj is the Mahant of the temple.

History of the temple: The temple was established about 45 years ago by Shri Mahant Haridwar

Giri Maharaj (Naga Baba) did it. The temple was named Narvadeshwarnath Mahadev Mandir because of the installation of Shivling brought from the Narmada river. At that time, not much construction of the temple had been done. Gradually, after the construction work continued for a long time, the temple was built. Idols were installed in the temple one by one.

Specialty of the temple: Continuous worship in the temple during the month of Saavan 

Wishes are fulfilled by performing Archana. Apart from this, devotees observe fast on 16 Mondays and come to the temple for worship. Bhandara is organized in the temple on every full moon day. Apart from this, special programs are organized on all festivals.
