Here, along with the court of Lord Shiva, idols of Maa Durga Kali Mata, Ram Darbar, Lord Vishnu-Mata Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati and other deities are installed. In the month of Shravan, a large number of devotees come daily to perform Jalabhishe.

History of the temple

This temple of Kaushambi is adjacent to Delhi. Three decades ago, the remains of the temple were found in the corner of Central Park. The temple was built in the year 2003. It was named Prachin Sanatan Dharma Mandir. Various organizations including ISKCON are associated with this temple. Pandit Rajendra Prasad Pandey is looking after it.

Pandit Rajendra Prasad Pandey says that worshipping in this temple fulfils wishes. All the gods and goddesses are worshipped in the temple. In the month of Saavan, a large number of people come here regularly to have darshan of Lord Shiva. Here the women's group organises Bhajans and Kirtans. Aarti is performed in the evening.
