Samrat Chaudhary said in 'Shukriya Modi Ji Program'- 'The government will not take over any property of Waqf':

Patna News: On the passing of the Waqf law, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and Dilip Jaiswal addressed the people in the "Shukriya Modi Ji Program" organized by Bihar Pasmanda Foundation on Thursday. The program was organized under the leadership of BJP Media Cell Bihar Chief Danish Iqbal. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary once again reiterated that the government will not occupy the Waqf properties, but they will be used for the welfare of the poor and the needy.

Samrat Chaudhary said that people used to spread the misconception that if CAA comes, then work will be done to drive away the Muslims. Now a similar thing is being spread among the Muslims regarding Waqf. You people should clear the misconception on Waqf, the government will not take any property.

What did the Emperor say regarding the emergency period?

He said that under the leadership of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Bharatiya Jana Sangh fought against “two constitutions, two Prime Ministers”. When emergency was imposed in 1975, even then secular constitution could not be implemented in Kashmir. When emergency was imposed in the whole country in 1975, it was not imposed in Kashmir. Some are Muslims and some are Hindus, but we are all Indians.

Samrat Chaudhary said that we have changed our method of worship. The evil practices will have to be corrected. If sisters became widows, they were burnt in fire, there used to be two or three marriages. There were evil practices. They have been changed.

I clearly believe that there is no interference from the government. These are baseless arguments. CM Nitish Kumar fenced 8000 graveyards during his long reign. I have seen MY during that reign as well. They used to create disputes. Whatever work we have done for all sections, Nitish Kumar did it because BJP was behind it. Bihar is changing.

CM Nitish Kumar changed the character of Bihar. Bihar had eight universities. There are 33 universities in Nitish Kumar's regime. We worked to uplift Dalits, backward and Muslims. Bihar is progressing. It is moving towards prosperity. I compare who did what. When riots broke out in Bhagalpur, the rioters kept roaming on the streets. When Nitish BJP government came, the rioters were sent to jail and the victims were compensated.

The government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar works towards taking Bihar towards progress. There was a need to make India more prosperous. The government did not even give Bihar its share. From 2004-2014, it was given only Rs 1,82,000 whereas after 2014, PM Modi gave 14 lakh crores.

'Now 42 lakh people travel by air'

Samrat Chaudhary said that we go to Dubai, Sharjah. During Modi's rule till 2005, 2.5 lakh people used to travel by air. Now in Modi-Nitish government, 42 lakh people travel. The airport will be ready before 15 August in Purnia city. Every account of the Waqf Board will be taken care of and used for the welfare of the poor. Clear the confusion on Waqf, the government will not grab any property.
