Hundreds of drones and missiles were used by Russia to attack the Ukrainian cities of Kyiv, Odessa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, and Poltava. Three people were killed and dozens injured in these attacks. A significant amount of government and private property was damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the enemy had targeted infrastructure, residential areas, and civilian businesses in the attacks. Russia launched missiles fitted with cluster bombs that struck a multi-story building in the city of Dnipro. As usual, these attacks targeted civilians and civilian facilities.
'Donald Trump will give an update on the situation'
Zelensky said he would meet US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York to brief him on the situation. Thirty people were injured in the Russian attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region alone. Russia used 619 drones and missiles in the latest attack. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that most of these were destroyed mid-air. F-16 fighter jets were also used to thwart the Russian attack.

Estonia said on Friday that three Russian fighter jets intruded into its airspace and remained there for 12 minutes. This was the third NATO member country to accuse Russia of violating its airspace in the past ten days, after Poland and Romania.
