Delhi's Tis Hazari Court has allowed Bibhav Kumar, accused of assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal, to go abroad. Tis Hazari Court has allowed Bibhav Kumar to go to Sri Lanka for a holiday with his family in August.
The court said that it is not only the right of the accused but also his duty towards his family to go on a holiday with his family. Bibhav Kumar is an accused in the alleged assault case filed by Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Swati Maliwal alleges that Bibhav Kumar assaulted her at the Chief Minister's residence.
Injury marks were found in Maliwal's medical report
Injury marks were found on Swati Maliwal's body in her medical report. According to the AIIMS report, Swati Maliwal had an injury of the size of 3x2 cm on the 'thigh of the left leg' and another injury of the size of 2x2 cm on her 'right cheek below the right eye'. Swati Maliwal's statement was also recorded in this medical report.
The incident with Swati Maliwal happened on 13 May 2024
Let us tell you that on May 13 last year at 9:15 am, Maliwal was physically attacked at the residence of the then Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Regarding this matter, the BJP as well as the Congress had constantly questioned the Aam Aadmi Party. Swati Maliwal herself had questioned the behavior of Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.
Swati Maliwal had directly questioned Arvind Kejriwal for this incident. She had even said that she was attacked in the presence of the party supremo. She had criticized the behavior meted out to her from various platforms. There was a lot of politics on this issue and a round of allegations and counter-allegations also took place.
