On July 12, the court sent Radhika's father Deepak Yadav, accused of her murder, to 14 days judicial custody. Deepak Yadav has confessed his crime before the police. Meanwhile, Radhika Yadav's uncle (Deepak Yadav's elder brother) Vijay Yadav has reacted to this murder. He said that it is sad that he had to cut his own tree with his own hands. Tennis player Radhika Yadav's uncle Vijay Yadav further said, "After committing the murder, my brother Deepak said that I have committed female infanticide. Get me hanged. He has also said the same thing in the police station that prepare such a report that I get hanged."

Giving further information, the uncle said, "When this incident happened, I was in my house. After getting the information, I went to his house and then Deepak himself told me that he had committed female infanticide. He had done a lot for the future of Radhika and his children."

Radhika Yadav's uncle Vijay Yadav also said, "There was no such thing that he was getting taunts from the society. If he was not born with a golden spoon, he was born with a silver spoon. There is no such thing that he was eating the daughter's earnings. If he had mentioned this earlier, such an incident would not have happened.
'Now we will fight the legal battle'
He further said, "Now we will fight a legal battle so that none of her children get caught in this. Now that one eye has been damaged, we will try to ensure that the other eye does not get damaged." Let us tell you that on Thursday (10 July), 25-year-old Radhika was allegedly shot dead by her father Deepak Yadav in a two-storey house in Sushant Lok, Sector 57, Gurugram.
