
News Topical, Digital Desk : PM Modi Visit Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a women's conference here on May 31 on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave this information on Monday. While chairing a meeting with senior officials to review the preparations for the Prime Minister's visit, CM Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi will address the conference at Jambori Maidan here.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the presence of the Prime Minister is a matter of pride and happiness for the people of the state. He wrote on his X handle, "The Prime Minister will participate in the women empowerment program and women's conference organized on the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar ji in Bhopal on May 31."
The conference will be dedicated to women empowerment.
He said that this conference, organized on the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, will be dedicated to women empowerment and self-reliance and one lakh women are expected to participate in it. An official said that in this program organized by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department of the state and the Ministry of Culture with the cooperation of the Central Government, postage stamps and coins dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar will be issued.
'PM Modi's vision is government's mission'
Apart from Yadav, Transport and School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts and Endowments Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi and Chief Secretary Anurag Jain also participated in the review meeting on Monday (May 19). He said that the Prime Minister's vision is the mission of the state government. He said that all the major steps taken for women empowerment in the state and the achievements made in this direction will be showcased in the conference.
According to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, stalls will be set up in the conference focusing on innovations of self-help groups, initiatives being taken by women in industry-employment and 'startup' as well as schemes and programs being run for women by various departments.
