News Topical, Digital Desk : Former US National Security Advisor John Bolton has accused Donald Trump of needlessly angering India. He said that Trump's wrong policies are having a bad effect on India-US relations.
Let us tell you that America has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India. Bolton said that China also buys Russian oil, but America has not imposed tariff on China.
'Americans made a huge mistake'
Bolton warned that it will take time to undo the impact of the tariffs. "When you make a mistake as big as the White House has done with India in the last 30 days, it takes a long time to restore trust and confidence," he said.
What advice did Bolton give to PM Modi?
Bolton also targeted Trump by referring to Pakistan. He emphasized how the government of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir are finding a better way to deal with Trump. He further said, “My only suggestion to Prime Minister Modi is that he can offer to nominate Trump twice for the Nobel Peace Prize.”
Let us tell you that in June this year, Pakistan had announced that it would formally recommend Trump's name for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for his "decisive diplomatic intervention" in the recent India-Pakistan conflict.
