News Topical, Digital Desk : Pakistan, enraged by ' Operation Sindoor ', tried to target several areas along with Indian military bases on Thursday night, which was foiled by the Indian Air Force (IAF). According to top Air Force sources, this action was carried out through air defense controlled by the Integrated Air Command & Control System (IACCS).
The Air Force used Long Range Loitering Munitions to counter the attacks. Apart from this, these included Igla MANPADS, Counter Unmanned Aircraft System, SNS Jammer, Gypsy Jammer, ECGNSS Jammer (ECGNSS- Enhanced Capability Global Navigation System Jammer), Soft n Hard Kill CUAS, Jamming Rifles.
What is special about IACCS?
- This system connects radars installed on the ground, aircraft flying in the air and other security systems. This gives the Air Force information about the entire airspace.
- This system captures the necessary information in the blink of an eye, which helps in taking quick decisions and can respond to any threat immediately.
- This system provides better compatibility between different types of aircraft and safety equipment.
- This system acts as a strong protective shield to protect our air border from enemies. This makes it easy to thwart any kind of air attack.
- IACCS has been developed in India itself.
Pakistan showed audacity by carrying out more than 50 drone attacks and firing more than 100 missiles last night, but all of them failed.
