According to a report in Pakistan's Dawn, Noshki Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amjad Soomro said that the oil tanker was parked at a truck depot. During this time, a fire broke out in it. After this fire, there was a huge explosion in the tanker. At least 40 people are reported to be injured in this incident. An official said in this regard that the fire broke out there due to welding work.

An official told about this incident that after the fire and explosion in the truck, fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot and started trying to control the fire. While extinguishing the fire, many fire brigade employees also got injured, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

 

Several people suffered severe burn injuries

An official said that after the incident, several policemen present at the spot were also injured while removing civilians from the depot. It is said that the people present near the oil tanker have suffered 70 to 80 percent burns. The seriously injured people are being taken to Quetta with the help of helicopters.

 

Meanwhile, on this incident, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that all the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital and BAC Hospital after first aid. He said that the incident is unfortunate. The incident is being investigated.
