News Topical, Digital Desk : The Noida Traffic Police has implemented a diversion plan from January 22 to January 26, 2026. In view of the preparations for the Republic Day parade, the Noida Traffic Police has banned the entry of cargo vehicles heading towards Delhi.
The entry of cargo vehicles from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi will remain prohibited. According to the traffic police, the movement of heavy vehicles towards Delhi during the parade preparations could cause traffic jams and security challenges.
The diversion plan implemented tonight will be in effect from 10 p.m. on January 22nd until the end of the rehearsal on January 23rd. These restrictions will be re-imposed from 10 p.m. on January 25th until the end of the parade on January 26th. DCP Traffic Manisha stated that heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi. Essential services such as ambulances and fire brigades have been exempted.
DND and Chilla Border: Vehicles going towards Delhi from here will take a U-turn and be sent towards Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE).
Kalindi Kunj: Vehicles will be diverted from the underpass intersection before the Yamuna River and taken out through the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Yamuna Expressway: There will be a diversion from Zero Point towards Pari Chowk, from where vehicles will be able to use EPE.
Elaborate arrangements for 'full dress rehearsal'
The Delhi Police have made elaborate arrangements for the full dress rehearsal on January 23. Vijay Chowk to Red Fort: The parade rehearsal route will start from Vijay Chowk and end at the Red Fort.
