New Delhi: In the year 2021, the helicopter of the then Chief of Defense Staff of the country, Bipin Rawat, crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In this accident, 12 officers including Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat sacrificed their lives. One of the names among the martyrs was that of Squadron Leader Kuldeep Singh Rao. Now the wife of this Kuldeep Singh Rao, Veerangana Yashwini Dhaka, has fulfilled her promise to her husband by becoming a lieutenant in the army.

Martyr Kuldeep Singh was a resident of Ghardana Khurd in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. During her husband's last journey, Yashvini Dhaka had promised to join the army. On becoming a lieutenant in the Air Force, Yashvini Dhaka said that this is not the end... this is just the beginning. After hard work, Yashvini passed the five-day SSB exam and medical test. After this, she took 11 months of training at the Officer Training Academy in Chennai from 2023. After the completion of the training, she got commissioned in the Air Force.

297 cadets completed their training

On September 7, a total of 297 Indian cadets completed their 11-month training in Chennai. These included 258 men and 39 women. After this, all of them were commissioned as lieutenants in the army. Along with these cadets, 15 foreign military personnel, including six officers of the Maldives Armed Forces, also received training.
