Apart from this, about 100 meters of the under-construction Mataur-Shimla four-lane collapsed near Ranital in Kangra district.
The debris of the four-lane road fell on the Pathankot-Jogindernagar railway line, causing damage to the railway line. The weather department has expressed the possibility of flooding in eight districts of the state due to heavy rainfall on Monday. The Kiratpur-Manali four-lane at Nau Mile in Mandi and the Paonta Sahib-Shilai-Gumma national highway in Sirmaur remained closed due to landslides. 137 roads are blocked in the state. Two children were washed away in Bathu, in which the body of a girl was recovered while the search for the other is on. Besides this, there is a problem of electricity due to 24 transformers being damaged.
Heavy landslide in Bhimbali of Kedar Valley
A lake has formed on the Mandakini river due to a massive landslide on the other side of the road near Bhimbali on the Kedarnath walking route in Uttarakhand. This has stopped the flow of the river. In view of the possibility of flood if the lake breaks, the administration has issued an alert and alerted people from Gaurikund to Rudraprayag. Meanwhile, two residential buildings and a cowshed were damaged due to cloudburst in Chamoli on Saturday night.

Chardham Yatra routes are also constantly getting blocked.
A piece of rock fell on the road in Badrinath Highway
On Sunday morning around 11 am, a large part of the rock broke and fell on the road in the Chhinka landslide area on the Badrinath Highway. Most of the rivers in the state are flowing near the danger mark. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state may remain the same for the next few days. Due to this, the police issued orders to the families living on the river bank to move back.
Situation worsened due to rain in Rajasthan
Due to heavy rains in Rajasthan since Saturday, the situation in many districts of the state has started deteriorating. On Sunday, nine people died in accidents caused by rain. Four youths were swept away by the river, efforts are being made to search them. Many roads have been blocked due to rain. The movement of vehicles has come to a complete halt.
State Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has directed the district collectors to keep an eye on relief and rescue operations. Seven youths, three of whom were cousins, died by drowning while bathing in the Banganga river in Bharatpur. In view of the flood situation, a holiday has been declared in schools on Monday. Many small and big rivers are in spate in Sawai Madhopur district. 20 villages have lost contact with the district headquarters.
