In Thane, Maharashtra, two groups clashed after stone pelting during Ganesh idol immersion. In Belgaum, Karnataka, two groups were stabbed in which three people were injured and three people have also been arrested.

Tension escalated and a clash broke out between two communities in Bhiwani, Thane, Maharashtra on Wednesday when some people pelted stones at people waiting to immerse the Ganesh idol. After this, the police had to intervene. Police Commissioner Dhyeshwar Chavan said that a large number of people had gathered at Banjarpatti Naka in Bhiwani area. There is uproar in Karnataka too

People of two groups wanted to immerse their idols first, and a fight broke out over this issue. When the situation escalated, the police intervened and pacified the situation. Similarly, during the immersion of Ganesh idol in Belgaum, Karnataka, there was an incident of stabbing between two groups due to an old rivalry amid dancing and singing. Three people were injured in this incident and the police arrested three people.

Stones pelted on Ganesh immersion tableau in Chhattisgarh

On Tuesday, in Ara village of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh, some people from another community pelted stones on the Ganesh idol immersion tableau, in which a girl was injured. Police, after getting information about the incident, reached the spot and arrested the four accused of stone pelting, Haseeb, Imam, Islam and Istakhar, the same night.
