New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the states of Jharkhand, Gujarat and Odisha from September 15 to September 17 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects. In this series, he will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar Junction railway station in Jharkhand today (September 15). After this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of several railway projects worth more than Rs 660 crore.
PM Modi will flag off six Vande Bharat trains
Additionally, he will distribute acceptance letters to 20,000 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) at Tatanagar. The Prime Minister will dedicate the Kurkura-Kanaron Doubling Project to the nation and flag off six Vande Bharat trains connecting various cities of eastern India. The Prime Minister will be accompanied on the dais by former Chief Ministers Babulal Marandi, Arjun Munda, Madhu Koda and Champai Soren.
Will inaugurate Re-Invest 2024 during Gujarat tour
On September 16, PM Modi will visit Gujarat, where he will inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST 2024). Also, in Gandhinagar, PM will interact with the beneficiaries of the Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. After this, he will inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project. PM Modi will launch several development projects worth more than Rs 8,000 crore in Ahmedabad.
PM Modi will flag off India's first Vande Metro
These projects include railway line quadrupling, road development, solar energy initiatives and the launch of a single window IT system for financial services. The Prime Minister will also approve over 30,000 houses under PMAY-Gramin and flag off several new Vande Bharat trains as well as India's first Vande Metro from Bhuj to Ahmedabad.
The last day of the tour will be in Odisha
The tour will conclude in Odisha on September 17, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the state's flagship women-centric scheme 'Subhadra', which will benefit over one crore women. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of railway projects worth over Rs 2,800 crore in Bhubaneswar and national highway projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore.
