New Delhi : Lieutenant General VPS Kaushik has assumed the appointment of Adjutant General of the Indian Army. Before assuming the key appointment on Friday, VPS Kaushik was serving as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Tri Shakti Corps.

Additional Director General of Public Information said on X that Lieutenant General VPS Kaushik assumed the appointment of Adjutant General of the Indian Army. Prior to assuming this key appointment, he was serving as General Officer Commanding of Trishakti Corps.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Vinod Nambiar also took over the appointment of Director General and Colonel Commandant of Army Aviation.

In a post on X, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information said that Lieutenant General Vinod Nambiar assumed the appointment of Director General and Colonel Commandant of Army Aviation. On assuming the appointment, he paid tribute to the brave at the National War Memorial NWM.
