New Delhi: The two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh has started today i.e. 19th September. The first Test is being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this match, the visiting team won the toss and decided to bowl first. After 21 years, it happened in Chennai that a team chose to bowl after winning the toss in a Test match.

Bangladesh team recently won the two-match Test series against Pakistan by 2-0 and now the team has entered the field with the intention of defeating India. At the same time, captain Rohit Sharma also made a big change in the playing-11 at the last moment before the Chennai Test.

In fact, in the first Test of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma made a big change in the playing-11. He gave a chance to 3 pacers including Jaspreet Bumrah, Akashdeep and Mohammad Siraj, while in the long format, two spinners Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin were included in the playing-11. 

At the same time, Rishabh Pant returned as a wicketkeeper. Dhruv, who performed brilliantly in the England series, had to sit out of the team. Sarfaraz had to be benched due to the arrival of KL Rahul. After losing the toss, Rohit said that Akash Deep, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja have got a place in the playing 11 as bowlers.

India now has to play a total of ten Tests against New Zealand and Australia after Bangladesh this season. India is currently at the top of the World Test Championship table while Australia is in second place.
