Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' is badly embroiled in controversies. Now the film will not be released on September 6. Bombay High Court refused to direct the Censor Board to issue the certificate immediately. Bombay High Court said that if this is done then it would be a violation of the order of Madhya Pradesh High Court. Let us tell you that till now Kangana Ranaut's film has not received the censor certificate.

Order to decide on objections by September 18

During the hearing, the Bombay High Court said that it cannot direct the CBFC to issue a certificate, as the Madhya Pradesh High Court has already ordered the censor board to decide on the objections lodged by Jabalpur Sikh Sangat. The Sikh Sangat has objected to the film and its trailer. The High Court has ordered the CBFC to decide on the objections raised by Jabalpur Sikh Sangat or anyone else by September 18.

Zee Entertainment had filed the petition

Let us tell you that CBFC did not issue a certificate to Kangana Ranaut's film. After this, Zee Entertainment Enterprises has knocked the door of Bombay High Court. The company appealed to the High Court to issue a censor certificate. But the High Court refused it.

Zee Entertainment is the producer of the Emergency film. In the petition, the company had claimed that the CBFC has arbitrarily withheld certification. The petition was heard by a division bench of Justice BP Colabawala and Firdosh Pooniwala.
