Chennai: Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani said that the Indian Army is always prepared to face new threats and the Army is strong on both the borders with Pakistan and China. He said this on the sidelines of the passing out parade at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) here on Saturday. In this ceremony, 297 cadet officers, including 39 women cadet officers, were inducted into various units and services of the Army.

Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani said, "The Indian Army is always ready for new threats." We are strong on the borders with both Pakistan and China. The Indian Army is ready to face any threat.

Women cadet officers complete their training 

The passing out parade held at Parameshwara Drill Square of OTA was reviewed by Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani. Ten cadet officers and five women cadet officers from friendly foreign countries also successfully completed their training, the OTA said.

'Soldiers are your most valuable asset'

The training of cadets from friendly countries has promoted the spirit of camaraderie and cooperation across international borders. On this occasion, the Vice Chief of Army Staff in his address lauded the cadet officers and OTA personnel for their exemplary achievements. He said, "You will soon get the opportunity to command some of the best soldiers in the world. These soldiers are your most valuable asset. So make your command efficient, disciplined and patient to be ready for war."
