New Delhi: Politicians are making statements in full swing regarding the rape and murder of a female doctor in Kolkata. Now Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has given a befitting reply to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's statement on Delhi, Assam. He hit back at Mamata Banerjee's statement and said, Didi, how dare you threaten Assam?
In fact, on Wednesday, on the foundation day of Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad, Mamata Banerjee had fiercely targeted the BJP for violence during the Bengal bandh. Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of spreading violence in Bengal and said that if Bengal burns, then Assam, Northeast, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi will also burn.
"Don't show us your red eyes"
In response to this, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, Didi, how dare you threaten Assam? Don't show us red eyes. Don't even try to burn India with your politics of failure. It does not suit you to speak divisive language.
Clash between BJP workers during 'Bengal Bandh'
Students' protests continue in Bengal over the murder and rape of a student. The BJP had called for a bandh (strike) from 6 am to 6 pm in protest against the police action on those participating in the state secretariat 'Navanna' campaign. In view of this, BJP workers clashed with the police and many BJP leaders were detained.
