New Delhi: The BJP on Friday appointed Rajya Sabha member and national general secretary Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal as the party's in-charge for Rajasthan and former Lok Sabha MP Harish Dwivedi as in-charge of Assam.
In a statement, the party said that National President JP Nadda has appointed National Secretary Arvind Menon and former MP Rajdeep Rai in-charge of Tamil Nadu and Tripura respectively.Menon has been reassigned to the responsibility he was handling earlier. Former BJP Mahila Morcha chief Vijaya Rahatkar will be co-in-charge of organisational affairs in Rajasthan and Sudhakar Reddy in Tamil Nadu.
New presidents have also been appointed in Bihar and Rajasthan
Along with this, the party has also appointed new presidents in Bihar and Rajasthan. Bihar government minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal has been appointed the new state president in place of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. At the same time, Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore has been made the president of the Rajasthan unit in place of CP Joshi.
