News Topical, Digital Desk : The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has announced a new direction to its conflict by taking it to the maritime front. The group has claimed the formation of its new naval wing, the Hammal Maritime Defence Force (HMDF), calling it the beginning of a Baloch national navy.

According to the group, the wing also carried out its first operation in the Jiwani area of Gwadar. A BLA spokesman claimed that a patrol boat was targeted in Jiwani, killing three Pakistani security personnel on board.

The group described it as a major shift in its strategy, saying its operations would now be conducted both on land and at sea. A video of the alleged attack was also released, showing armed fighters heading toward the sea and boarding a boat.

Two more Baloch youths killed Meanwhile, the situation in Balochistan appears to be worsening. The Baloch Yakzehti Committee (BYC) has alleged that Pakistani security forces recently killed two more Baloch youths in alleged encounters.

According to the organization, one young man was shot while stopped on the road, while another was targeted at his workplace. These incidents follow the killings of three Baloch youths in recent days.
