News Topical, Digital Desk : Amit Shah Raipur Visit:  Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (June 22, 2025) said that the campaign against Naxalites will continue even in the rain and they will not be allowed to sleep. He ruled out any kind of talks with the Maoists and requested them to lay down their arms and join the journey of development.

The Home Minister was addressing a programme after laying the foundation stone of National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Campus and Central Forensic Laboratory at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar in Chhattisgarh.

Will not let us sleep even during monsoon- Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah said, "Every time during the rainy season, the Naxalites used to take a little rest (because the swollen rivers and streams inside the dense forest hinder anti-Naxal operations), but this time, we will not let them sleep during the monsoon and we will go further to achieve the target of March 31." He said that he wants to appeal to the misguided youth who have taken the path of Naxalism to give up arms.

'Trust the government, surrender your weapons'

The Union Home Minister said, "Vishnu Dev Sai has made a very attractive surrender policy, lay down your arms and join the development journey of new Chhattisgarh. You will never get a better chance than this to surrender. There is no need for any talks, trust the government, lay down your arms and join the mainstream and you will automatically join the development journey of Chhattisgarh."

He said, "I welcome those who have laid down their arms to return to social life and assure you that we will fulfill the promise made to you by the Chhattisgarh government and the central government and will try to help you even more than that."

Three new laws were mentioned

The Union Home Minister said that after the full implementation of the three new laws - Indian Justice Code, Indian Civil Protection Code and Indian Evidence Act, India's criminal justice system will become the most modern criminal justice system in the world and the country will enter an era of more evidence-based criminal justice.

He said, "After the full implementation of the three criminal laws, any FIR registered in any corner of our country will ensure justice to the complainant and the victim up to the Supreme Court within three years. Justice will not be delayed by more than three years. We have worked towards creating a modern, speedy and scientific justice system through these three criminal justice laws."

'Aim to make India developed by 2047'

The Home Minister said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's vision is very clear. The goal of making India a developed country by 2047 is not only focused on innovation, infrastructure, industrial and economic development, but it also includes ensuring timely justice and the three new laws will help in ensuring timely justice."

He said, "With the help of FSL (Forensic Science Lab), India will be among the countries with the highest conviction rate in the world in a few years. In the new laws brought after abolishing the 160-year-old colonial law, we have made it mandatory that for all crimes with a sentence of more than seven years, it will be mandatory for the forensic science team to visit the crime scene, this shows that there is a huge potential for forensic science in our country."

Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated I-Hub Chhattisgarh

During the program, Home Minister Amit Shah also inaugurated the transit campus of NFSU and I-Hub Chhattisgarh in Sejbahar area of ​​Raipur. The NFSU campus in Nava Raipur will be built at a cost of Rs 145 crore and CFSL at a cost of Rs 123 crore. The Chhattisgarh government has provided land for the institutes. He said that the entire campus of NFSU will be developed in the next three years.

Home Minister Amit Shah said, "Chhattisgarh has four regional state forensic science laboratories in Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Durg and Jagdalpur. Now CFSL will also be established, which will give a great strength to our criminal justice system. Now no one will need to go to another state and there will be no need to send forensic samples to Delhi for investigation. The entire investigation will be done in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar itself."
