An elderly woman crawled 2 KM to get her pension

This painful incident has come to light from Raisuan Panchayat under Telkoi block of Keonjhar district. The plight of the woman highlights the careless attitude of government officials. The elderly woman says, "The PEO has asked me to reach his office for pension, so with no other option, I have to crawl 2 km to the Panchayat office. There is no one to help me." This incident is said to be of September 21. However, its video went viral today i.e. Tuesday.

Sarpanch gave this assurance

The video of a disabled elderly woman crawling to the Panchayat office is also going viral on social media. After the video went viral, people got angry at the government employees and started saying that these employees have no shame at all. If a helpless woman does not have anyone to help her, then is their humanity dead? When the matter came to the notice of Raisuan's Sarpanch Bagan Champiya, he said, "We have come to know about this incident from social media, from now on her old age pension will be delivered to her home through PEO and 3 months' ration will also be delivered to her home."
